The Stavely Municipal Library is a member of the Chinook Arch Regional Library System, which is a municipal partnership of 36 municipalities in south west Alberta created to enhance library service through collaboration.  Residents of member municipalities in the Chinook Arch region have access to the collections and services of 29 libraries throughout the regional.

The Stavely Municipal Library is located in the Stavely Elementary School and is wheelchair accessible.  The Library is a joint use library with the school.  We have a great little library and it works well as a joint use facility.  Along with books, we have a good collection of videos and DVDs for the whole family.  There are three computers in the library available for use.

Membership fees are:  Adult $10.00, Juvenile $2.00 and Family $10.00.

Hours of Service:

          Mondays 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.

          Wednesday Noon - 8:00 p.m.

          Friday 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.

On Monday evenings, coffee or tea is available.  Stop in and enjoy a cup while you browse.

During the summer, the library has a reading program for young readers.
