
Community Hall:
Run by a volunteer Board, this hall opened in 1980 and hosts everything
from auction sales to weddings to rodeo dances.
Senior
Citizen Apartments: We
currently have housing
for 6 independent units housed within one complex. These units are complete with
kitchen/living area and separate bedroom and bathroom and a common laundry
facility as
well as a common gathering area. For upcoming vacancies contact Jim at

Arena: Our arena has figure skating, minor hockey and recreational
hockey programs, and is the home ice for the Livingstone Rockmen Jr. B hockey
team during the winter months. In
April, after the ice is taken out, the dirt goes in, in time for the Stavely
Indoor Professional Rodeo. During the spring and summer months, the arena is
home to clinics, 4-H Horse Club, and the Stavely Horse Show and Amateur Rodeo.

Golf Course:
Stavely’s 9-hole course is one of the few remaining courses in Southern
Alberta that boasts sand greens. ** Visit Web Page
Archery Lanes:
Located in the old curling rink, the lanes routinely see more than 40
shooters come out.
Museum:
The Museum of Stavely and District was opened in 1989 and has a wonderful
selection of museum pieces from the town and area.

Library:
A beautiful new community library is located in the newly renovated
Elementary School.
School:
Stavely has one school with ECS and Grades 1 to 6.
This school was totally renovated in 2002. With the installation of Smart
Boards in every classroom, it has placed the school on the leading edge of
technology.

Parks: The Town has three parks.
One located by the RV Campground and includes a modernized playground for
children and a camp kitchen (no reservations for camping),
a beautiful park located on Main Street which features a gazebo, and the
school park with a wonderful playground. Visit them all - you will be glad you
did!
RV Campground:
Fifteen fully serviced sites complete with shower facilities and dumping
station. Adjacent to Centennial
Park, there is a playground for the children as well as a camp kitchen.
Golden Age Centre:
A large facility located on Main Street where the seniors can gather to
play cards and other recreational activities.
Ball Diamond:
An excellent community ball diamond is located east of the Golf Course.
Other diamonds are located at the School.
Stavely
United Church: Services, including Sunday School for all ages, are
held every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Reverend Sarah Wallace officiating.
