Golden Age Centre

The Golden Age Centre is a large facility that caters to the seniors of Stavely and

surrounding area. The Centre features a pool table, hosts special events, dinners

and a host of weekly and monthly programs. The programs include exercise, casino trips, movie night, crafts and card games.

Monday: Coffee 9:00 a.m.

Tuesday: Low Impact Exercise 10:00 a.m.

Crafts (bring your own) 9:00 a.m.

Pool 9:00 a.m.

The Claresholm and District Transportation Society provides transportation to seniors in the MD of Willow Creek area. The transportation services offered are for medical purposes. Thursday: Stavely Stitchers 9:00 a.m.

Friday: Low impact exercises 10:00 a.m.

Saturday: Coffee 9:00 a.m.

Game Night: The Center is now open on Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pop, coffee, tea costs $1.00. Come and play pool, darts (the new electronic dart boards have arrived), scrabble and/or cards. Bring a friend, bring a game, come spend some time at a great place. Everyone is welcome members and non members.

The Center is now available for rental. It is a great facility to host meetings, luncheons, dinners, and so on. Cost and availability of the Center can be found out by contacting the Board.
