The Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) program promotes and enhances the well-being of Albertans, families and communities. FCSS programs are intended to help individuals adopt healthy lifestyles, improve their quality of life and build capacity to prevent and deal with crisis situations should they arise.

Welcome to FCSS

FCSS is a Family and Community Support Service which provides the province of Alberta and municipalities or Metis Settlements with funding.

What is FCSS?

FCSS is a unique 80/20 funding partnership between the Governments of Alberta and participating or Metis Settlements. Provincially, the FCSS program receives is mandate from the FCSS Act and Regulation. The programs are all preventative in nature and are a way for both the province and government to provide Albertans with necessary social services
